The Building Inspector issues building permits for new builds, additions, demolition of old buildings, and in-ground swimming pools. A permit is not required for siding a house, replacing windows or replacing an already existing structure (porch, deck), as long as the structure is the same size. Before you start a project, a call to the CEO is a good idea, he will help you to comply with the ordinances and the building codes of the Town Of Marilla.

The Building Inspector must issue a Certificate of Occupancy before you can move into your new home.
