The name of our group is Sew-to Sow, meaning that we sew things to help people who sow God’s Word. As a side benefit we get to laugh and talk and share each others joys and troubles as we sew. We sew on sewing machines, do not knit, crochet or do crafts. We have nine positions available, but we usually only have 5-7 taken. Even though we meet each week, a commitment to every two weeks or once a month would still be helpful. We also need cutters, either at our meetings or at your home. We have many generous donations of cloth but are always open to more, esp. cottons, batting, Holiday material.
We also run a sale called Christmas at the Old Homestead, at the Marilla Fire Hall, which benefits SonRays Ministries in Tonawanda, and could use help with that. This year it is on Oct. 20-22. Other ministries we support are Odosagih Bible Conference in Machias. Recently we sent baby nighties to Bethesda Aids Orphanage in South Africa.
